How to make your own GIF on Viber
During any conversation, shoot a short video or select a video from those stored on your device. Easily convert it to a GIF with boomerang, fast motion, or reverse motion. Follow the steps below:
- Trim the video to choose the ideal snapshot for the GIF.
- Select a feature for the GIF (boomerang, continuous repetition, reverse video, slow or fast motion x2 or x4).
- Customize the GIF using text in various colors and fonts. Add stickers, emoji, and designs.
With personalized GIFS, Viber gives users the opportunity to express themselves even more directly, replacing text messages with clever videos. “As we say in Viber, if an emoji replaces a word, GIFs and stickers can replace a whole sentence”, said Ofir Eyal, COO of Rakuten Viber decisively.
The creation of GIFs is currently available on devices with iOS operating system. The company will launch the application for Android in the immediate future.
