The persistent problems with the Galaxy S20 Ultra model have created a headache for the heads of Samsung. The main problem is the focus of the camera, as until now the zoom was automatically applied 1.5x when it realized that the object was too close. In the new model, the magnification increases by 2x.
In an attempt to alleviate the dissatisfaction of the users, the company presented a new magnification capability which was intended to cover the failure of the S20 Ultra’s focus at close distances. The company also made significant changes to its camera and sent an official update to Nordic S20 Ultra users encouraging them to simply move back in order to achieve perfect focus.
Despite the attempts, the problems persist with the SamMobile website calling on Samsung to provide a definitive solution. However, the minimum focus distance concerns the main lens of the camera, therefore it cannot be fixed with a software update. The real solution to the problem is expected to be provided with the release of the Galaxy Note 20+.
