Xiaomi is once again making a dynamic entry into the tablet market, raising the standards of devices and consequently, the level of competition. According to the leakster Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is preparing to launch two new Mi Pads, the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. These devices will excel due to their advanced technological features.
Information suggests the new Mi Pads will come with an 11-inch LCD screen with 2,560 x 1,600 px resolution (16:10). The screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. So far, we have seen screens with high refresh rates in smartphones but not in tablets.
As for the processor, the Mi Pad 5 will incorporate the Snapdragon 780G processor, while the Mi Pad 5 Pro the Snapdragon SM8150-AC, which is none other than the Snapdragon 855+ and Snapdragon 860. So far, no more information about the new tablets has been leaked, but it is clear that Xiaomi is coming with the intention to…sweep the competition off its feet!
