Xiaomi 12 Ultra |

The new renders of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship reveal in detail the back of the device, which will carry the iconic red logo of Leica, right above the camera system.

Although previous rumors said that the 12 Ultra would contain the same three cameras as the Mi 11 Ultra, the renders show that there is also a fourth. The camera module appears to cover a large part of the back of the device.

According to leakster Zoutounos, the camera specifications of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra are expected to be:

  • 24mm lens, 50MP for the main camera
  • 120mm lens, 48 MP, for the periscope camera
  • 12mm lens, 48MP, for the ultrawide camera
  • Selfie Camera 20 MP

The screen of the company’s new flagship is said to be a 6.6″ AMOLED with a curved edge and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its resolution is expected to reach 1440 x 3200 pixels, with a 20:9 aspect ratio and support for HDR 10+. Inside, it is rumored to sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and a dual speaker system.

The device, created in collaboration with the historic Leica, is expected to be released in July, however, Xiaomi has not yet made an official announcement for the release date.
