The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.27-inch screen, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.85-inch screen. This means that both models will be approximately 0.17 and 0.75 inches larger than the current models.
The screens of the new models will be made of OLED and will have a 2778×1284 pixel resolution. The refresh rate will be 120Hz, and they will also support ProMotion technology, which allows the refresh rate to adjust according to the content displayed on the screen.
Comparison with previous models
iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max will be the first iPhones with larger screens since the iPhone 6 in 2014. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have 6.1 and 6.7-inch screens respectively.
The increase in screen size will also result in a slightly taller and wider design for the new models.
