Apple is expected to begin mass production of the iPhone 15 series in August, according to reliable analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Tech Research.
Pu reports that the company is fully prepared to manufacture 84 million units by the end of 2023, which corresponds to a 12% increase compared to the iPhone 14 devices produced last year for the same period.
Pu’s forecasts also include a price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro Max had a starting price of $1,099 in the United States and €1,449 in Europe.
According to the analyst, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature exclusive functions that won’t be available in the iPhone 15 Pro. Among these is the addition of a periscope lens for the telephoto, which will extend the optical zoom functionality. Also, rumors suggest that the batteries of all the devices in the series will have increased capacity, though this means that their size will be somewhat increased.
