Apple Intelligence was presented by Apple during the WWDC Keynote

During the much-anticipated WWDC Keynote, Apple unveiled its new project, Apple Intelligence, which will drastically upgrade the capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, among other devices. Apple Intelligence, which is part of iOS 18, will be available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, offering users a range of innovative features based on artificial intelligence (AI).

New Features for iOS 18

iOS 18, with Apple Intelligence, promises to bring iPhone to a new level of capabilities. Users can benefit from a range of new features that make iPhone use more versatile and powerful. Some of the most impressive features include:

  • Email Tone Change: With one touch, you can change the tone of your email to sound more professional, friendly, or concise. Also, Apple Intelligence can correct your email for grammatical errors and other issues.
  • Create TLDR: You can create a brief summary of the key points of your letter, making reading emails faster and easier.
  • Priority Notifications: This feature uses artificial intelligence to put your most important personal notifications at the top of the stack.

Genmoji and Image Playground

Apple also introduced Genmoji, a new emoji creation engine. You can create emojis based on descriptions such as “Squirrel DJ”. The Image Playground allows you to create customized images starting from a word like “Rooftop”, and add descriptive words to determine the style of the image (cartoons, sketch, or illustration). Apple Intelligence can also recognize individuals in your photo collection and create images for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.

Image Wand and Siri

Image Wand is another innovative feature that turns a rough sketch into a polished image using artificial intelligence. Also, Siri has been significantly upgraded. Apple states that the new Siri, thanks to natural language, understands what you mean even if you stumble on a word, and remembers previous conversations to provide more accurate answers.

With the Personal Context feature, Siri can read your emails, messages, calendar apps, and photos to help you answer questions. For example, if you ask “When does my mom’s flight land?”, Siri can find flight information in an email and send it to you in a notification. Apple Intelligence appears to offer exceptionally powerful tools that will significantly improve the daily use of Apple devices. With the introduction of these features, Apple continues to lead in the field of artificial intelligence and technology, making its products more useful and accessible to users.
