Did you know that one of the surfaces with the most germs is your phone’s screen? Besides the obvious fingerprints, dirt and dust, many “invisible enemies” also accumulate on the screen. That’s why regular cleaning of your iPhone screen is a must.

To clean your screen properly without causing scratches and damage, remove your earphones or charger and turn off your device. Take off the protective cover and clean it as well.

With a soft, microfiber cloth that doesn’t leave lint, clean your screen with gentle movements. Don’t clean your iPhone with your clothes as they can cause scratches. Also, don’t use common cleaning products which often contain solvents, alcohol, ammonia and ethanol. All these can cause irreparable damage. A little water and a damp cloth are enough.

Aside from the screen, you can carefully also clean the USB port from dust and lint. Simply blow into the socket and avoid liquids and sharp objects.
