Unpacked 2020, Samsung’s event, which technology enthusiasts, journalists and consumers are eagerly waiting for every year, is coming in about three months. There, the new Note 20 series and the much-anticipated foldable smartphones are expected to be unveiled.
However, sources state that we won’t see them immediately available because Samsung has not yet perfected the stage of the Galaxy Fold 2’s bootloader. In contrast to the Galaxy Fold 2 software, the Galaxy Note 20 builds are ready. This essentially means that the two devices will have a considerable gap in their official release dates.
In addition, production of the Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to commence in late July, so it will be available for sale from late August to early September, but again for a limited number of devices. This theory is reinforced by the fact that the production of Ultra Thin Glass, which the company wants to incorporate into the Galaxy Fold 2, is already quite limited.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip? The new device will be significantly more affordable, while it will feature a larger screen and an updated Snapdragon 865 chip.
