Google is redesigning Gmail to make it even more appealing and to incorporate new, advanced features. Naturally, designing such an undertaking is no simple matter!

The new Gmail will first be introduced to users of the Gmail app on Android smartphones and will then move on to other platforms. Google is aiming high with this new app, which will allow users to communicate in all possible ways from one central point. For this reason, it is expected to include multiple services such as Meet.

According to initial information, the user will see 4 different tabs on the screen, the Mail, Chat, Meet and Rooms. By using one of the four options, they will communicate as suits their needs according to the situation. Also, they will have the ability to share each communication to another tab. For example, they could email a conversation they’ve had on chat. An additional change is the integration of G Suite with Gmail, which will create an interesting field of interaction between users.

It is worth noting that the aforementioned changes will apply to both smartphones and desktops. Google’s goal is to provide a multidimensional and comprehensive solution, which will facilitate the user’s daily life in every way possible, especially in an era where remote communication and work tends to become the norm.
