Apple is a company that has accustomed us to innovative ideas and groundbreaking devices. Now, it comes to secure a patent for an iPhone design made entirely of glass. Of course, there is not yet any official prediction for the release of this device, but it cannot be ruled out to be announced at one of the company’s future presentations.

As one can understand, this particular device has the clear advantage of fully utilizing the body of the device, as its entire frame would be used as a screen. This patent was accepted by the US Patent Office, named “Electronic device with glass enclosure” and it is described as an electronic device which has the ability to present six different image viewing points and content on a unified glass surface.

The company, upon securing its patent, stated information on how one can open the device for repair, while its overall design almost certainly alludes to an iPhone.

Content display will take place not only on the front side, but also on the back, thanks to the unique features and design of the device. Of course, this particular design proposal is certainly original, however, in its execution – probably – the weight of the device will increase compared to classic iPhones, due to the extensive use of glass.
