Samsung Galaxy A33: The technical specifications leaked before the official presentation

Just a few hours before their online presentation at the “Awesome Galaxy A Event”, it seems that the new Samsung Galaxy A models and the Samsung Galaxy A33 leaked. The reveal was made by Evan Blass, who is considered a widely reliable source in the technology field.

According to the leaked information, we see that the Samsung Galaxy A33 will be available in four different color options, will feature a 6.4-inch OLED screen with 90Hz and 1080p resolution, a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging capability, and an Exynos 1280 processor. We see this particular chip for the first time and it is rumored to have an octa-core CPU.

It is expected to be fully equipped with four cameras (48MP, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, 2MP portrait) on the back and a 13MP selfie camera.

Another piece of information we have learned is that it will feature 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Gorilla Glass and IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.

In the European market, it is expected to cost around 379€. Samsung’s mid-range A series is one of the company’s most popular lines. Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was the 6th best-selling smartphone worldwide for 2021, according to Counterpoint research. It is also rumoured that along with the A33, Samsung will present the Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53, the characteristics of which were leaked in a Twitter post.

Based on the post, it is expected to have a larger 6.5-inch screen, an Exynos 1280 processor, a rear quad-camera of 64 Megapixels, and a 32 Megapixel selfie camera.
