The new flagship smartphone series from Xiaomi is coming to our country and includes three new devices, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X. With a powerful processor and professional photo-taking capabilities, the premium series of the company was presented at a lavish event at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, to the sounds of Mozart’s 12th Symphony.
From these, we singled out the Xiaomi 12 Pro, an impressive smartphone that offers cinematic captures and flagship processor performance. With a “majestic” AMOLED Dot Display measuring 6.73 inches, 20:9 aspect ratio and 3200×1440 pixel resolution, it offers stunning clarity and the vibrancy of a billion-color display. The screen reaches brightness up to 1500 nits, supports True Color, and supports HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision, a display technology that brings your content to life with vibrant colors and details. This technology is protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
In the photography department, the Xiaomi 12 PRO stands out for its triple 50MP camera system, capable of capturing 8K HDR video at 24 fps. The main 50MP wide-angle camera features an improved Sony IMX707 sensor, which collects larger amounts of light and offers better focusing speed and optimal color accuracy, regardless of lighting conditions or the speed of moving objects you’re photographing. The selfie camera, on the other hand, comes at 32MP, features a 26mm wide-angle lens, HDR10+ and the ability to shoot 1080p video up to 60 fps.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. An octa-core processor built with 4nm architecture, with enhanced GPU rendering capabilities by 30% and improved energy efficiency by 25% compared to the previous generation. Equipped with 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, infrared, and high-performance cooling systems that ensure temperature is kept at optimal levels.
The Xiaomi HyperCharge technology, with 120W, offers super-fast charging, resulting in the 4,600mAh battery being fully charged in less than 20 minutes, with the option of activating boost mode. This avoids the possibility of leaving your device charging longer than necessary, which in the long term degrades the battery. It also features 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
