The new flagship of Poco has it all. Qualcomm’s latest-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and support for HyperCharge 120W fast charging, promise to elevate the mobile gaming experience.
The Poco F4 GT comes in a metal construction with magnetic pop-up trigger buttons on both sides, making it an ideal smartphone for gamers. However, the triggers “hide” inside the metal frame when not in use, and they are even compatible with over 100 games. Contrary to the bulky and ostentatious aesthetics of the gaming smartphones we have seen so far, the Poco F4 GT is characterized by an understated and discreet design.
Beyond its appearance, it also excels in hardware. Its display, consisting of a 10-bit panel with a 480 Hz sampling rate and high frequency PWM brightness reduction, reaches 6.67 inches, has Gorilla Glass Victus coating, and is even certified by DisplayMate with an A+ score.
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, which comes with LiquidCool 3.0 technology, with two vapor chambers for maximum cooling, and the Adreno 730 GPU, which is 50% faster than the previous generation, it will definitely give the much-desired advantage in any online game utilized. The processor is even accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM memory and UFS 3.1 storage space.
Another impressive innovation is the HyperCharge 120W charging technology, with which the device can fully charge in just 17 minutes. With this technology, there is the possibility of charging while the user is playing a game. In this state, less heat is generated and the time for full charge is 27 minutes.
Of course, a noteworthy smartphone isn’t complete without advanced cameras and the Poco F4 GT didn’t disappoint us. The selfie camera with a resolution of 20MP has a Sony IMX596 sensor and the main camera of 64MP is also equipped with a Sony IMX686 sensor. The main camera has an f/1.9 aperture lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP fixed-focus macro camera.
Its price rises to €599 for the version with 8GB RAM and 128GB, and €699 for the version with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage space.
