The iPhone 14 is already in the hands of Apple’s fanatics, who eagerly waited until the time came to get their hands on the brand new model of the technology giant.
Unfortunately for it, the iPhone 14 also fell into the hands of famous YouTuber Zach, who “tortured” the smartphone and all of us who saw the chilling video! So how did the iPhone 14 do in the ultimate endurance test?

Most high-end smartphones have delicate and intricate hardware components, which in most cases are not able to withstand adverse conditions. Although hardware manufacturers invest in high durability, it is understood that any flagship smartphone cannot withstand all hardship.

The iPhone 14 does not differ greatly from last year’s model (iPhone 13), however, Apple seems to have made an effort to improve the durability of the internal parts of the new smartphone. Even though the iPhone 14 seems to suffer in the hands of YouTuber Zach, it proves to be significantly more durable compared to its predecessor. At the same time, as the infamous Zach concluded, the iPhone 14 is unbreakable.
The test on the JerryRigEverything channel starts with a screen scratch test, which shows minor scratches appearing at level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale and deeper gouges at level 7. The aluminium sides are subjected to several “attacks” from a blade. Then, a screen burn test is followed resulting in the loss of many pixels, which never return.
