At the end of January, Apple released iOS 16.3 to iPhone users. Now, in September, we are expecting – along with the new iPhone 15- the release of iOS 17! And although it’s still early, some details have already leaked.
Apparently, iOS 17 will not bring any major design change, as it will look quite similar to iOS 16. As reported, regarding the new features, there will be improvements in stability and device performance, as well as support for Apple’s Reality Pro AR/VR headset. Thus, iOS 17 will have a new app, specifically for the headset.
Changes and simplifications
Changes are also expected in the Home application, as well as modifications in Find My. According to the same information, the Music application will also be revamped, with changes mainly affecting navigation.
Also, Mail will be simplified, Reminders and Files will be improved, while updates are coming to the Fitness and Wallet applications, with the latter connecting to Apple Pay Later.
It also seems that iOS 17 will provide increased support for devices with Dynamic Island, such as the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, as well as the new iPhone 15 models. The new series will be equipped with a USB-C port, but only the Pro and Pro Max models will support USB 3.2. Finally, it is said that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will support more advanced image processing compared to the iPhone 15 Pro and will have a better cooling system.
