Samsung Galaxy Fit 3: Full Feature Reveal and Expected Improvements Before Official Release

A series of impressive upgrades and new capabilities are coming to the new Galaxy Fit 3 by Samsung, as indicated by recent revelations. We expect to see a larger screen, built-in snoring detection functionality, and extended battery life, among other significant improvements.

Rumors about the fitness tracking capabilities of the Galaxy Fit 3 had already emerged in certification entries and leaks, but now it seems that Samsung has revealed more extensive details through one of its official websites. Samsung Gulf, which serves the Arabian Gulf region, allegedly temporarily posted the product’s official page, offering full specifications and details that have now been preserved in cached versions of the page.

The announcement promises a sleek design with an aluminum case and a noticeably larger screen, offering a 1.6-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 256 x 402, in contrast to the narrower 1.1-inch AMOLED screen of Fit 2. The device’s weight increases slightly compared to its predecessor, with Fit 3 weighing 18.5 grams without the strap and 36.8 grams with it, while the device offers 5ATM/IP68 certification, ideal for use in pools.

Interesting is the transition to more conventional straps with quick release, facilitating their change. In addition, Samsung confirms the release of a series of sports straps for Fit 3.

In terms of autonomy, the Galaxy Fit 3 promises up to thirteen days of operation on a single charge, thanks to a 208mAh battery, while it can be charged up to 65% in half an hour. The device offers Bluetooth 5.3, 16MB of RAM, and 256MB of data storage. It will support over 100 fitness programs, measuring blood oxygen, heart rate, stress levels, fall detection, and recording user activity. The sleep-hours recording feature will also include the ability to detect snoring.

In addition, the company presented a list documenting the differences between the Galaxy Fit 3 and its predecessors, intensifying anticipation for the official release of the device. The release date of the Galaxy Fit 3 has not yet been officially announced, but all indications suggest that Samsung is ready to launch it soon in the market.
