iPhone 16 Pro: Official Presentation with Larger Screen, Camera Control Button, AI and A18 Pro Chip

iPhone 16 Pro: Επίσημη Παρουσίαση με Μεγαλύτερη Οθόνη, Camera Control Button, AI και Τσιπ A18 Pro

At the event “It’s Glowtime”, Apple unveiled the new iPhone 16 Pro which comes with a bigger screen, a new Camera Control button and the upgraded A18 Pro chip.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch screen with the thinnest bezels we’ve ever seen on an Apple device. The frame is made of titanium and is available in new color options: darker black titanium, brighter white titanium, natural titanium and the new desert titanium.

These devices are powered by the A18 Pro chip, which is faster and more efficient than the standard A18 of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Made with second-generation 3 nm technology, the A18 Pro features a new 16-core Neural Engine and integrated support for Apple Intelligence features.

The new Camera Control button is a unique sapphire glass button dedicated exclusively to camera functions. With a simple click the camera application opens, while with a second click it takes a photo. If you hold it down, it records video. In addition, it has touch gestures, allowing distinction between a simple press and a lighter touch. A light touch offers a clear preview of the image, while a double light touch displays additional controls that you can select by sliding motion.

The Camera Control is also equipped with the Visual Intelligence feature, which allows the iPhone to recognize information from the environment. For example, users can point the camera at a restaurant and get immediate information or add events to their calendar.

With upgraded microphones, the iPhone 16 Pro supports Spatial Audio recording for more immersive sound when using AirPods or Apple Vision Pro. A new Audio Mix feature, based on machine learning, recognizes and separates the background sounds. The “In-Frame Mix” for instance, isolates the voice of the person in front of the camera, while the “Cinematic Mix” processes the sound like in a movie, with sounds coming from the foreground and ambient noises from the background. There are also improvements in Voice Memos, allowing users to add music to existing recordings.

The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999 for the version with 128 GB of storage space and will be available for pre-order on Friday, with an official release on September 20.
