The recent release of iOS 17.1.2 has arrived for iPhones from Thursday 30/11, and it is important to proceed with an immediate upgrade. Although the upgrade does not add new features, it fixes significant security gaps, making it necessary.
Despite its small volume, about 320MB, the upgrade also fixes many errors, ensuring the effective operation of the phone. Apple emphasizes the importance of the upgrade and recommends its immediate application.
Security gap fixes relate to problems that were known from previous iOS versions and had already been used in malicious attacks.
To perform the upgrade, follow the path Settings > General > Software Update on your device.
In the coming days, we expect the release of iOS 17.2, which will bring new features to devices, while addressing some of the major issues with iOS 17.
Among the new features will be Apple’s Journal app, the ability to record video with Spatial Audio on the iPhone 15 Pro, as well as other interesting additions.
