iOS 17.0.3: Significant Upgrade for Overheating in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

Apple has released iOS 17.0.3, a small but significant update for iOS 17. This update is particularly for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max owners, as it fixes the device overheating issue.

Since the release of the new smartphones, many users noticed that the devices were excessively overheating. Apple acknowledged these issues and promised to eliminate the causes of overheating with updates. In addition, the company is working with app creators like Instagram and Uber, which apparently exhausted the A17 Pro chipset, causing problems with heat management. Updates are expected to be released for these apps for full resolution of the issue.

Apple puts great emphasis on the safety and quality of its products. In this context, the latest update given to iPhone users brings a series of critical fixes. More specifically, this update, with release code 21A360, also corrects serious errors concerning the device’s safety.

The update also covers a critical vulnerability in the operating system’s kernel. This vulnerability could give third parties access to the device. According to Apple, this specific fault had been identified in iOS 16.6 and earlier versions.
