Sony has unveiled its lightest smartphone in the world, the new mid-range Xperia 10 V! It’s compact, easy to carry everywhere, has the best-in-class 5000mAh battery, and is equipped with front stereo speakers, a bright OLED screen, and a triple-lens camera.
The Xperia 10 V. weighs 159 grams, a few grams less than its predecessor.
The Sony Xperia 10 V retains the Snapdragon 695 chipset as well as the 6GB/128GB memory combination of the Xperia 10 IV, while the storage space can still be expanded with microSD cards.
Its screen is a 1080p 6.1″ OLED in diagonal, but Sony says it’s 1.5x brighter than before. It has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The back and frame are made of plastic in order to keep the weight down.

In terms of the camera, we have a 48MP 1/2.0″ sensor with 0.8μm pixel and f/1.8 lens with optical image stabilization. Next to it, it features 8MP and telephoto and ultrawide (both with f/2.2 aperture). The selfie camera is another 8MP unit.
Sony Xperia 10 V: Its main asset is the battery
The Xperia 10 V “wears” a 5,000 mAh battery, which promises to retain at least 80% of its capacity after three years.
Other notable features include water and dust resistance with IP65/68 certification, a 3.5 mm audio jack supporting Hi-Res audio, and a set of stereo speakers. The Xperia 10 V will cost 449 euros in Europe and will be released in mid-June.
