Notch that changes shape, Always On screen, and a greatly improved 48 MP camera! A breath of renewal and innovation hovers over the new Pro models of the iPhone14 series, the Pro and the Max, which come in sizes 6.1 and 6.7 inches respectively.
More specifically, these are the only new generation iPhones that incorporate the new and mighty A16 Bionic chip, which is 40% faster than its competitors.
Higher brightness, Always On function
Regarding the screen, the Super Retina XDR with ProMotion has the highest brightness than any other smartphone reaching 2,000 nits and 1600 in HDR mode, while for the first time it incorporates Always-On technology.
This allows the notch to transform according to the circumstance and the notification it wants to display, in a function that Apple calls “Dynamic Island”.
It is worth emphasizing that the rumors were confirmed and the Pro models carry the new smaller notch in “pill” shape.
More durable than ever
Another promise from Apple is that the iPhone 14 Pro/ Pro Max are made more durable than ever with a ceramic coating (it’s called Ceramic Shield) on the screen glass, something that offers stronger protection than any other glass on a smartphone, as well as from splashes, water accidents, and dust resistance.
Double the camera quality
For the first time in years, Apple fully upgrades the resolution of the iPhone cameras and thus the 14 Pro/Pro Max will carry a 48MP quad-pixel resolution sensor.
Thanks to the Photonic Engine, the new cameras achieve x2 improvement in any kind of low light photography conditions, while upgrading the flash to be twice as bright as last year. In the telephoto camera, the optical zoom now reaches x3. All cameras, front and rear, in general, feature double the low light performance.
Now in video, the Pros have the action mode for recording with a perfectly stable frame, while the Cinematic Mode is improved with recording at the cinematic standard of 4K/30fps and 4K/24fps.
