The iPhone and iPad, in addition to being essential communication tools, have greatly replaced the camera. With next-generation cameras, they offer us multiple options to capture important moments of our everyday life. So in the mobile photo collection, we have plenty of high-resolution photos.
However, large photos can slow down the mobile or may not be able to reach as attachments in emails and other applications. Many applications define the size of the photo you can upload or share. High-resolution photos also affect the device’s capacity.
How can you send large photos easily and without restrictions and also secure more space on iPhone or iPad? The solution comes through an application. A free app you can download from the App Store is Compress Photos & Pictures, developed by iDB. The basic version is free, while if you want to download the corresponding Pro program you can process your photos without seeing ads.
How to compress your photos on iPhone and iPad
Open the Compress Photos & Pictures application and allow from the settings the application’s access to the photo collection.
Select the ADD symbol on the main screen. Then select the photos you want to compress and press Next.
From the compression settings, adjust the quality and dimensions and select Preview to see the differences before and after compression.
Finally select Compress X photos. If you want to make a change before compression select Back.
The process takes a few seconds. Once completed, you can see details such as the size of the new photo and how much space you saved. The compressed image is automatically saved on the device. You can keep the photo in the iPhone or iPad Gallery or delete it. You can always keep your original photo.
