The foldable Huawei Mate X2 has already received 3C certification, which means that its release date is dangerously close! Specifically, the much-anticipated smartphone has been spotted on the certification website with model number TET-AN00 / TET-AN10. According to the same list, the Huawei Mate X2 will be a 5G smartphone that will support the 66W fast charging solution of Huawei, just like the Huawei Mate 40 series recently announced by the same company.
The new Huawei Mate X2 is expected to replace the Huawei Mate X which was released in 2019. Even though the company has not disclosed details about its features, there are many rumors and leaks about both the design and its capabilities.
Some of these rumors suggest that the new Huawei smartphone will be released with two screens, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 and will have a quite remarkable external display with a hole. At the back of it, we will find a rectangular unit with four different cameras which consist of two 40MP sensors, 3x optical zoom, etc.
According to sources, the Mate X2 will have an 8.3-inch display before folding with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is likely to be powered by the Kirin 9000 SoC. Many also claim that it will feature a Hi1105 chipset for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1. while it will run EMUI 11 based on Android 10. Until both the form and the features are officially disclosed, we have no choice but to wait.
