Many owners of the new iPhone 12 have reported a major issue with their devices related to message and SMS notifications. Specifically, those who received a high volume of messages and iMessages “missed” some of the notifications.
The problem, according to the reports, is located among conversations with Android users. Many complained that in group chats, messages sent from Android smartphones never reached the inbox of the iPhone 12.
It has not yet been clarified whether Apple’s operating system is to blame for the problem, or if it’s an issue with the mobile provider, as the latter are required to upgrade their hardware and software to support new smartphones. It also hasn’t been clarified if there’s a syncing issue with iCloud.
