Sometimes, after a reasonable amount of time has passed since purchasing a technology device, problems with its functions can be noticed. Often these are isolated incidents and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Just before Christmas, however, several users reported charging issues with their MacBook Pro. The reports keep coming, and in particular, the problem indicated is that when they connect their MacBook Pro, especially the MacBook Pro 2017, a battery percentage indication of 1% and the message “service” appears. In most cases, the computers are out of warranty due to age, and users are asked to first replace their batteries.

Some of the users who proceeded to replace their batteries report that the problem has not been resolved, indicating that this is not a Hardware issue but a software one. They even believe that the problem is due to upgrading to version 11.1 of the MacOS Big Sur system, although this has not been confirmed. On its part, the company stated that its team of engineers has looked into the issue and is working on its resolution.

If you are also facing a problem with your MacBook Pro, you need only consult one of the specialized technicians of the team at The Fixers.
