One of the serious consequences of the pandemic in the technology sector is the significant shortages in Mini-LED screens. This, as we have mentioned again in TheFixers Blog, has delayed the launch of several devices, setting back the timetable of several companies.

Recent reports from Bloomberg revealed that, despite the restrictions, Apple will launch new iPad Pro 2021 models in April. The company is indeed facing serious problems with the shortage of screens that will replace the LCD screen in the 12.9-inch version, but has secured a satisfactory number. However, the launch of the new iPads on the market may be delayed for a few more weeks.

According to reports “Apple still aims to present the upgraded iPad Pro in two sizes as early as this month. The Mini-LED screen will be an exclusive feature of the 12.9-inch model. Due to the limitation in the supply of these screens, this means that the larger iPad Pros may be available later on the market.”

Apart from the Mini-LED screen, other features of the iPads that have been revealed are the support of Thunderbolt connectivity via USB-C port, as well as the new A14X processor that will be based on Apple M1. It is not yet known whether Apple will present the new iPads through an event or if it will simply announce them through a Press Release.
