It is almost certain that by the end of 2021, Google Pixel will have released its foldable smartphone, potentially named Google Pixel Fold, although this is not confirmed yet.
Not much has been disclosed yet about the features and equipment of the Google Pixel Fold, but it seems certain that it will fully leverage the new capabilities of Android 12. What is known is that the model’s screen will be 7.6 inches when fully unfolded and the fold will be inward.
It is rumored that Samsung will be able to provide Google with the opportunity to create this particular device, as the technology it has developed with the Ultra-thin Glass constitutes a key element in the construction of these devices.
Samsung will start the production of foldable OLED panels in October, an event which offers the opportunity to create new foldable devices from companies like Google, Xiaomi, and Vivo. However, the potential release date of Google’s foldable device has not been published yet.
