According to Barclays’ analyst Tim Long, the upcoming models iPhone 15 Pro by Apple are likely to have increased pricing compared to the current models. Long revealed that this information comes from discussions with supply chain companies in Asia.
According to his estimates, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to cost about 100 dollars more than the iPhone 14 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be even more expensive, increasing its price by 100 to 200 dollars compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, the standard versions of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to maintain the same prices.
Therefore, the pricing for the iPhone 15 series in the US is expected to be as follows:
iPhone 15: 799 dollars (same price as before)
iPhone 15 Plus: 899 dollars (same price as before)
iPhone 15 Pro: 1.099 dollars (compared to the previous 999 dollars)
iPhone 15 Pro Max: 1.299 dollars (compared to the previous 1.099 dollars)
Rumors mention an upgraded telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will feature periscope technology allowing up to 5-6x zoom, compared to the 3x offered by the iPhone 14 Pro models. This improvement could lead to an increase in the iPhone 15 Pro Max price by about 50 dollars, according to Long.
It is worth noting that these estimates should be treated as forecasts and are not always absolutely accurate. In the past, analysts have predicted price increases that have not been confirmed in practice.
