Addressing the Overheating Problem on iPhone 15 Pro: Apple’s Response with iOS 17.1

Apple is facing a new challenge with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max as recent updates in popular apps like Instagram, Uber, and the game Asphalt 9: Legends have led to overheating of the devices.

In a statement, Apple reports that overheating is temporary and may occur during the first activation or restoration of the device, due to increased background activity. However, the company is determined to solve the problem with the upcoming iOS 17.1 software update, expected to be released in late October.

The iPhone 15 Pro models may have increased temperature for the first few days after their activation, but this will be temporary. The company is also working with the developers of the apps that caused the overheating, including Instagram, to resolve the system overload issues.

At the same time, Apple assures that the safety and long-term performance of the devices will not be affected by this overheating issue. The company also points out that the materials used in the devices, such as the titanium frame and aluminium infrastructure, have not contributed to the problem.

With the upcoming iOS 17.1 software update, Apple hopes to correct this issue and ensure the stable operation of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
