Σύγκριση Διάρκειας Ζωής Μπαταρίας iPhone 16 – iPhone 15: Πάνω από 1 Ώρα Επιπλέον Διάρκεια για Όλα τα Νέα Μοντέλα

With the new iPhone 16 series, Apple has improved the battery life compared to the iPhone 15 models, offering at least one more hour of autonomy on each device.

Specifically, video playback increased by an hour across all models, while iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max have displayed even more significant improvements. In the case of video streaming, duration increased from two to four hours depending on the model, while iPhone 16 Pro models support even longer audio playback duration. Apple uses the term “up to” to describe battery life, as this can vary depending on each user’s usage habits.

Comparison of iPhone 16 vs iPhone 15 Battery Life:

  • iPhone 16: 22 hours video playback, 18 hours video streaming, 80 hours audio.
  • iPhone 16 Plus: 27 hours video playback, 24 hours video streaming, 100 hours audio.
  • iPhone 16 Pro: 27 hours video playback, 22 hours video streaming, 85 hours audio.
  • iPhone 16 Pro Max: 33 hours video playback, 29 hours video streaming, 105 hours audio.

  • iPhone 15 Plus: 26 hours video playback, 20 hours video streaming, 100 hours audio.
  • iPhone 15 Pro: 26 hours video playback, 20 hours video streaming, 75 hours audio.
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max: 29 hours video playback, 25 hours video streaming, 95 hours audio.

Apple places particular emphasis on battery life in the new iPhone 16s, with its product pages including details on the improvements offered by the new models compared to older versions. For example, upgrading from an iPhone 12 mini can add up to seven hours extra battery life.

In addition, iPhone 16s support 25W MagSafe faster charging, using one of Apple’s new MagSafe chargers in conjunction with a 30W or larger power adapter. This is the first time that fast charging is also available for wireless charging, allowing up to 50% charging in just 30 minutes.

Also, Qi2 charging is supported, although it is limited to 15W, just like the previous generation of MagSafe charging.
