Do you have an iPhone and recently noticed that your Facebook profile has been disconnected from the app? You’re not alone! Many users have been disconnected and even managed to log back in after several attempts. Specifically, when they tried to use the app, since it’s highly unlikely to log out each time they use it, they found themselves being asked to log in from scratch.

In some cases, iPhone users were even asked for their ID in order to be able to reconnect to their profile. Especially for those who have activated the authentication process, things got even more complicated since there was a significant delay in sending the sms with the authentication code.

Twitter users couldn’t leave this unattended and the topic even trended for several hours.

What is Facebook’s response?
Its official post didn’t clarify what caused the turmoil and stated the following: “We are aware that some users are having trouble accessing Facebook. We are working to restore normality as soon as possible”.
