New rumours about Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 suggest a significant upgrade to the device's main camera that is expected to… get people talking.
Specifically, the Fold7 is said to feature a 200 MP main sensor, backing up earlier reports we saw last month when the first renders leaked.
This 200 MP sensor is already familiar from the special edition of the Galaxy Z Fold released last year exclusively in Korea and China. It is also the same sensor used by the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it a clear step up from the Fold6's 50 MP camera.
Meanwhile, the latest report suggests that the camera beneath the foldable screen will also receive a long-overdue upgrade. Although no details about the upgrade's technical specifications are available, it is expected to deliver better image quality and a higher resolution than the 4 MP currently offered.
However, apart from these two changes, the Fold7's remaining cameras are unchanged from its predecessor. The device will retain the 12 MP ultra-wide lens, 10 MP telephoto lens and 10 MP external selfie camera.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to make its official debut in July, alongside the Flip7 and Samsung's first tri-fold device, which may even be released in limited numbers.
