The question is on the minds of both users and executives at Samsung who, according to sources, have already started testing the new version of Google's operating system. Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy S20+ was recently spotted running Android 11 in the Geekbench database. Of course, we cannot be certain when to expect the update yet, as Samsung will initially release a beta version. Several months will pass between this version and the final launch.
As a reminder, a year ago, Samsung tested Android 10 on the Galaxy S20, with the first stable version released at the end of last November. A year later, in November 2020, Android 11 is expected to be released for the Samsung Galaxy S20. In addition, in line with the company's usual practice, the update will first be rolled out to the S20 series and then to the Note 20 series.
Alongside the Android 11 update, the Galaxy Note 20 will also introduce a new version of the UI. OneUI 2.5 will probably come pre-installed on the new Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra smartphones. If you do not want to wait until November, you can try the package a few months earlier by signing up for the relevant beta programme. According to information from the SamMobile website, official testing of Android 11 on Samsung smartphones will begin before the release of the stable version for smartphones by Google.
