Battery capacity is one of the key factors when choosing a smartphone. The popular Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 4.500mAh battery, as does the Galaxy S20+. Both outperform the standard S20 model in this respect, which has a 4.000mAh battery. With this in mind, most people expected the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to have the same battery capacity as the S21+. Samsung, however, proved them wrong.

According to GalaxyClub, the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (model code SM-G990B) will have a battery with model number EB-BG990ABY and a 4.370mAh rated capacity or a 4.500mAh advertised capacity. By comparison, its battery will be 500mAh larger than the standard S21's, but 300mAh smaller than the S21+'s. The battery's strengths include its charging options: fast wired charging, fast wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare.
