After Apple unveiled the iPhone 14 Pro and its clever way of hiding the notch on the screen while also making use of it with Dynamic Island, it did not take long for similar apps to appear on Android, copying its functionality.
So far, we have not seen an official implementation built into a device's user interface, either from Google or any other manufacturer. However, according to a tweet from a senior realme executive, the Chinese company is preparing its own version of Dynamic Island, called Mini Capsule.
The executive was quick to delete the tweet, but it was already too late, as users had managed to… capture the moment!

And it is not just the deleted tweet: shortly afterwards, a video leaked on Twitter showing how Mini Capsule works. Mini Capsule expands around the selfie camera cut-out to display charging information as soon as the device is plugged in.

All signs therefore suggest that realme will be the first company to officially offer its own take on the much-discussed Dynamic Island – provided that Mini Capsule offers other features too.
Dynamic Island from Huawei too?
And as the company is a subsidiary of BBK Electronics, which also has Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo under its umbrella, we may see similar versions from the group's other subsidiaries.
Meanwhile, rumours suggest that Huawei is also preparing its own version of Dynamic Island, which is said to be launching alongside the new Nova 11 series devices, scheduled to be announced in the first half of the year.
