Xiaomi is making a strong return to the tablet market, raising device standards and, in turn, the bar for the competition. According to leaker Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is preparing to launch two new Mi Pads, the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. These devices are set to stand out thanks to their advanced technical specifications.

Reports suggest that the new Mi Pads will come with an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 px (16:10). The screen will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. So far, we have seen high refresh rate screens on smartphones but not on tablets.

As for the processor, the Mi Pad 5 will feature a Snapdragon 780G, while the Mi Pad 5 Pro will use the Snapdragon SM8150-AC, which is none other than the Snapdragon 855+ and Snapdragon 860. So far, no further information has been leaked about the new tablets, but it is clear that Xiaomi is ready to...take the market by storm!
