At the latest hour-long online Apple Event, named «Peek Performance», we saw impressive new models from the company across various product categories. A new iPhone SE, an upgraded iPad Air, a refreshed Studio Display and the new, most powerful Mac chip yet, which will make its debut in the new professional Mac Studio system.
The eagerly awaited iPhone SE, the company's new affordable smartphone, certainly stole the show. Although it looks similar to the previous model, it has been fully upgraded on the inside, with an A15 Bionic chip, longer battery life and 5G connectivity. It has a 4.7-inch screen and a 12MP rear camera. Prices start at 539€. It will be available in Greece from 25 March, with pre-orders opening on 18 March.

Two new colour options were also unveiled for the iPhone 13, in shades of green.

For the iPad Air, Apple announced that the new version will feature an Apple M1 processor, which we have so far seen in the company's more expensive models. The new iPad Air also supports 5G networks and features advanced sensors in its 12MP front camera. Prices start at 749€, and it will launch in Greece on 25 March.

Perhaps the most significant announcement, however, came towards the end of the event. Apple unveiled its new system for professionals, Mac Studio. With an M1 Ultra chip that is up to 80% faster than a Mac Pro, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and USB-A ports, plus WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5 for wireless connectivity, the new Mac Studio system is guaranteed to meet all the demands of a professional environment.

Alongside the new system, we also saw the Studio Display, a 27-inch 5K Retina display with a brightness of 600 units. It features an A13 Bionic chip, a 12MP camera, six built-in speakers, microphones and four USB – C ports. Prices start at 1.749 €.

Finally, Apple's new peripherals were also unveiled at the event. The Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and numeric keypad, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad are now available in black as well as the classic white.
