Just hours before their online unveiling at the “Awesome Galaxy A Event”, the new Samsung Galaxy A models and the Samsung Galaxy A33 appear to have been leaked. The details were revealed by Evan Blass, who is widely regarded as a reliable source in the tech world.
Based on the leaked details, the Samsung Galaxy A33 will be available in four different colour options and will feature a 6.4-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution, a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W charging, and an Exynos 1280 processor. This is the first time we have seen this particular chip, which is rumoured to feature an octa-core CPU.

It is set to come fully equipped with four rear cameras (48MP, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, 2MP portrait) and a 13MP selfie camera.
We have also learnt that it will feature 6GB RAM, 128GB of storage, Gorilla Glass and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

It is expected to cost around 379€ in the European market. Samsung's mid-range A series is one of the company's most popular ranges. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy A12 was the world's 6th best-selling smartphone in 2021, according to research by Counterpoint. It is also rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A53 will be unveiled alongside the A33, with the latter's specifications leaked in a Twitter post.

According to the post, it is expected to feature a larger 6.5-inch display, an Exynos 1280 processor, a quad rear camera setup with 64 Megapixels and a selfie camera with 32 Megapixels.
