Samsung has released the third beta version of One UI 8 for Galaxy S25 owners, with the rollout already underway in the United Kingdom, India, Germany and South Korea. The update is expected to reach users in the US and Poland later today.
The new beta is approximately 1,2 GB in size and brings significant bug fixes, as well as improvements to system performance and stability. Key changes include:
- A fix for the overlap between the status bar and the recent apps screen.
- A fix for the keyboard activating automatically on the Secure Folder PIN entry screen after a restart.
- A fix for a bug that prevented smooth text entry when using swipe gestures.
- Reduced delays when accessing the “Modes/Routines” menu.
- Fixes for text entry issues with the S Pen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
The update also includes further software optimisations aimed at delivering a smoother user experience and improving the overall stability of the operating system.
According to unconfirmed reports, Samsung may release the final version of One UI 8 ahead of schedule, potentially alongside the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. If this is confirmed, the current beta could be the last before the official release.
However, Samsung has not yet made an official announcement about the exact release schedule, so users will need to wait for more information in the coming weeks.
