New images created by David Kowalski in collaboration with Pigtou offer an exciting preview of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6, suggesting it will stand out from the competition among foldable devices when it launches next summer.
Although the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has been recognised as one of the leading foldable devices, Samsung appears to be looking for ways to make the next model even more appealing. A recent patent filing by the company suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be thinner than its predecessor, something many users are looking for.
It also appears that the new device will be wider than the previous model, with larger outer and inner displays and a revised aspect ratio. To ensure that the slimmer profile does not compromise durability, Samsung is reportedly working on new hinge designs. One such hinge appears to feature multiple housings arranged symmetrically around it, ensuring that the load from the display is distributed evenly.
The renders reveal a refreshed design for the camera array, with the camera modules mounted directly on the back of the device. Although the final design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may differ from what is shown in the renders, the signs suggest that the device will be thinner and wider. These changes in dimensions, perhaps combined with a potential price reduction, could help Samsung strengthen its position in the foldable device market.
