Sony has unveiled its new mid-range Xperia 10 V, the lightest smartphone in the world! It is compact, easy to take anywhere and has a best-in-class 5000mAh battery, along with front-facing stereo speakers, a bright OLED display and a triple-lens camera.
The Xperia 10 V weighs 159 grams, a few grams less than its predecessor.
The Sony Xperia 10 V retains the Snapdragon 695 chipset and the Xperia 10 IV's 6GB/128GB memory configuration, while storage can still be expanded with microSD cards.
Its display is a 1080p OLED measuring 6,1″ diagonally, but Sony says it is 1,5x brighter than before. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The back and frame are plastic to keep the weight down.

In the camera department, there is a 48MP 1/2,0″ sensor with 0,8μm pixels and an f/1,8 lens with optical image stabilisation. Alongside it are 8MP telephoto and ultrawide cameras (both with an f/2,2 aperture). The selfie camera is another 8MP unit.
Sony Xperia 10 V: Battery life is its key strength
The Xperia 10 V packs a 5.000 mAh battery, which promises to retain at least 80% of its capacity after three years.
Other notable features include IP65/68-certified water and dust resistance, a 3,5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res audio support and a set of stereo speakers. The Xperia 10 V will cost 449 euros in Europe and will be released in mid-June.
Perfect for entertainment on the go
Whether you are watching a film or listening to music, the stereo speakers on the front of the device deliver powerful, balanced, true stereo sound.
What is more, the 6,1-inch Full HD+ OLED display is approximately 1,5 times brighter than the previous model, improving outdoor visibility. The TRILUMINOS display for mobile draws on Sony's many years of experience in televisions to optimise the screen for watching films, reproducing stunning, vibrant images.
Equipped with a 3,5 mm audio jack, it also supports LDAC wireless transmission technology, so you can enjoy high-resolution, high-quality audio with both wired and wireless headphones. In addition, DSEE Ultimate, which uses Sony's proprietary AI technology, reproduces audio from streaming services at a quality comparable to high-resolution sound.
