As soon as Apple released the iPhone XR, many users were quick to compare it to the iPhone 5c, the more affordable version of the iPhone available at the time, which offered pretty good value for money. However, the iPhone XR proved to be a wise move, breaking sales records! So what came next?
The American giant's next gem, by all accounts, is the iPhone 11. A recent study by Omdia showed that the latest iPhone model took the market by storm, recording the highest shipment figures in the first half of 2020. Specifically, so far it has shipped more than 37,7 million iPhone 11 units, surpassing even iPhone XR shipments by 10,7 million! In the sales race, Samsung's Galaxy A51 follows with just 11,4 million shipments!
The official figures from Omdia suggest that Apple fans are not bothered by the absence of certain features, instead placing their trust in iPhones, which have now become synonymous with a particular lifestyle. It is worth noting that the retail price of the iPhone 11 starts at 699 dollars, and the iPhone 11 Pro at 999 dollars.
