Two years after the launch of the third-generation iPhone SE, rumours about the next model continue to gather pace. In recent months, the “iPhone SE 4” has attracted attention, and a new report reveals its impressive camera specifications.
The new iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to retain the design of the iPhone 14, complete with the classic notch, as it will not feature the Dynamic Island. On the back, while it will still have a single camera, this is expected to receive a significant upgrade. According to the latest information, the device will feature a 48MP camera, making it the top choice in its category.
Upgrades are also expected for the selfie camera, which will increase from 7MP on the iPhone SE 3 to 12MP. As a reminder, the main camera on the iPhone SE 3 was 12MP, highlighting the significant improvement in the new model, as well as Apple's intention to put more capabilities in the hands of users of the ‘SE’ version.
Apple will work with LG Innotek to produce the cameras, which will be similar to those on the iPhone 16, although the iPhone SE 4 will not feature an ultrawide lens. Foxconn and Cowell Electronics will also be involved in camera production, while the OLED panels will come from LG and BOE.
Although the device's price has not been confirmed, it is expected to cost no more than 499 dollars in the United States.
