Apple is expected to begin mass production of the iPhone 15 series in August, according to reliable analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong International Tech Research.
Pu reports that the company is fully prepared to manufacture 84 million units by the end of 2023, representing a 12% increase compared with the number of iPhone 14 devices manufactured during the same period last year.
Pu's forecasts also include a price increase for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Pro Max had a starting price of $1.099 in the United States and €1.449 in Europe.
According to the analyst, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will offer exclusive features that will not be available on the iPhone 15 Pro. These include the addition of a periscope lens for the telephoto camera, which will extend its optical zoom range. Rumours also suggest that the batteries in all devices in the series will have increased capacity, although this means they will be somewhat larger.
