Google is redesigning Gmail to give it an even more attractive look, along with advanced new features. Naturally, planning such a project is no simple task!
The new Gmail will initially be introduced to Gmail app users on smartphones running Android and will then roll out to other platforms. Google is aiming very high with the new app, which will allow users to communicate in every available way from a single place. For this reason, it is expected to integrate multiple services, such as Meet.
According to early reports, users will see 4 different tabs on their screen: Mail, Chat, Meet and Rooms. By choosing one of the four options, they will be able to communicate in whichever way best suits the situation. They will also be able to share a particular conversation in another tab. For example, they will be able to email a previous chat conversation. Another change is the integration of G Suite with Gmail, which will create an interesting space for interaction between users.
It is worth noting that the above changes will apply to both smartphones and desktops. The aim of Google is to offer a versatile, comprehensive solution that will make users' everyday lives easier in every way, particularly at a time when remote communication and working are becoming the norm.
