Not one, not two, but three brand-new ARM MacBook models are set to be announced at the upcoming Apple event. Details of the different Apple models were leaked by the reputable website Bloomberg.
The first model expected to be announced is the new MacBook Pro with a 13-inch display, which, far from being discontinued as most people thought, is getting an update with the new ARM SoC. Alongside it, a new model in the Air range will also be announced, featuring a 13-inch display.
For the finale, Apple has saved the new MacBook Pro with a 16-inch display, about which little is known.
As Bloomberg points out, both the manufacturer and its suppliers are working flat out to ramp up production and make the new MacBook models available as soon as possible. The new models do not feature significant design changes, but what we will see is considerably longer battery life and lower power consumption thanks to the ARM chipsets.
