Fans of Samsung smartphones cannot wait for the release of the new Galaxy S20 Lite model. Just a few days ago, news leaked online that the company is very close to starting production, while according to ETNews, the South Korean news agency, the new affordable mobile phone in the S20 series will launch this autumn, specifically in October.
The smartphone’s official name has not yet been confirmed, but rumours suggest it will be the “Galaxy S20 Pen Edition”, which suggests to users that it will feature an S-Pen stylus and be closer to the Galaxy Note series.
According to other unconfirmed sources, Samsung is preparing the “S20 Fan Edition” or simply S20 Lite, which will launch with Samsung’s One UI 2.5 and is expected to run on a Snapdragon 865 SoC. But what will its other specifications be? That remains unknown for now.
Many reports suggest that Samsung’s new smartphone will be released in the second half of 2020 alongside the Note20 series, which will be announced in about a month from now. The new 5G version of the Z Flip will also be announced at the same time. Finally, September is expected to see the release of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Until then…be patient!
