Xiaomi recently faced a technical issue with its Mi A3 models. The fault affected some Mi A3 handsets, but the company rushed to fix it immediately. Despite its quick response, however, Mi A3 users are far from satisfied with their experience, as they have to deal with recurring bugs every time they download new software updates to their smartphones.
The problem this time was that the new update caused the dual SIM functionality to malfunction. A series of updates followed in an attempt to fix the various problems promptly, but these caused frustration among users.
In an effort to apologise, Xiaomi issued a statement in which it acknowledged the problem caused by the new software updates. To fix the dual SIM issue, it released a new update, V11.0.17.0.QFQMIXM. The latest version includes all Android security updates and removes the Telcel boot graphic and similar apps. According to unconfirmed reports, this new version does not have Google certification, which could prove disastrous for Xiaomi, which now has to contend with fans' dissatisfaction over the repeated problems.
